Icom IC-MR1200RII/TI/TIII Radar

The Icom IC-MR1200 series of marine radars consists of three models:
MR-1200RII - Max Range 36 Miles, Radome, 4kW
MR-1200TII - Max Range 48 Miles, Open Array Antenna, 4kW
MR-1200TIII - Max Range 72 Miles, Open Array Antenna, 6 kW

 

The Icom IC-MR1200 Marine Radar features a large 12' display that conveniently displays surface objects. The radar has a NMEA 0183 input that can be connected to a GPS receiver or compass. The IC-MR1200 Series features Auto Tracking (ATA), which allows you to plot and predict the trajectories of up to 10 objects with warning signals. The presence of two Electronic Bearing Lines (cursors) and two Variable Range Markers allows you to track two objects simultaneously. In standby mode, to save energy, you can stop scanning and turn off the display for a certain time or until an object appears in the observation zone.
The IC-MR1200 Series radars have the ability to adjust the distance to obstacles, upon reaching which the alarm will be triggered. If other vessels or islands appear in the 'alarm zone', an audible signal warns of a possible collision, even in power saving mode and with the display turned off.
